What it does for your business
In Malta, receipts from a computer system count as fiscal receipts once the MTCA gives you an EXO number. Enter it once and StartERP prints it beside your VAT number on every receipt; an Article 11 business prints EXP before its VAT number and marks its lines exempt. Issued receipts can't be changed (corrections go through a return), pre-bills say they are not a fiscal receipt, and a daily check shows the first and last receipt numbers, any missing number and the Z reports. The EXO application pack gives you a sample receipt, a sample pre-bill and the software supplier letter for your application.
