Send RFQ to suppliers
Ask suppliers for prices on items you need to buy — for a customer or for stock replenishment — by WhatsApp, e-mail or both.
Steps
- In Details, fill For customer (optional) — leave it empty for stock replenishment — and an Internal reference such as a PR number.
- 1. Items: search Add from catalogue (shows the Last cost) or click Free-text line for items not in the catalogue.
- Set Qty, Unit and Notes on each line.
- 2. Suppliers: search or filter by category and city, then tick suppliers (or Select all shown). WA and Email badges show who can be reached.
- 3. Preview & send: choose WhatsApp, Email or Both and check how many selected suppliers are reachable.
- Edit the Message if needed; the preview bubble shows what suppliers receive.
- Click Send. The RFQ is created and opens on Suppliers & replies to track delivery and replies.
Tips
- The message is generated from the items until you edit it; click Regenerate from items to rebuild it.
- You must add at least one item and pick at least one supplier, and every line needs a name and a quantity.
- Suppliers not reachable on the chosen channel are marked Failed — the toast tells you how many were unreachable.
- Each sent message is also logged in the supplier's conversation in Messages.
- Sending is simulated in this prototype.
