Messages (WhatsApp & e-mail)
One inbox for procurement conversations with suppliers and customers. Reply, attach files, pin threads, and turn a message into an RFQ or a purchase bill.
Steps
- Switch between Email and WhatsApp with the tabs at the top; the counts show unread messages.
- In Email, pick All accounts or one mailbox, and use Search messages to find a conversation.
- Click a thread to open it; it is marked read automatically.
- Type your reply and press Enter to send (Shift+Enter for a new line); use the paperclip to attach a file.
- Click Extract RFQ to create an RFQ from the customer's messages, or Extract purchase bill to create a vendor bill.
- From More (⋯): Link to RFQ, Link purchase, Pin / Unpin, or Mark as unread.
- In Email, click New email, fill To, Subject and the body (bold, italic, list, link, attachments), then Send.
Tips
- Pinned threads always stay at the top of the list; linked RFQs and purchases show as chips under the thread header.
- WhatsApp allows free-form replies only within 24 hours of the contact's last message. Outside that window, send a document from its WhatsApp button: with the store's WhatsApp API connected, "Send PDF" sends it with the Invoice share template chosen under Settings → WhatsApp.
- Template variables (customer name, document and amount) are filled from the document; no template is picked when sending.
- Ticks on your messages show sent (one tick) and read (two ticks).
- The Attachments bar at the bottom shows storage used out of the 5 GB quota.
- Sending is simulated in this prototype.
