What it does for your business
Record the batch number and expiry date of the goods you receive, straight from the purchase in one go. The expiry board shows what has expired and what expires soon, with its value at cost, so you put it on offer first or return it to the supplier in time.

Step-by-step guides
- Expiry boardEvery batch still on your shelves and how close it is to its expiry date: expired, expiring soon, or fine, with the quantity left and what it cost. What is left of each batch is worked out from the product's stock now: the oldest batches are taken as sold first, so the stock on hand belongs to the latest batches received. Part of the Batch & expiry dates add-on for groceries, supermarkets and butcher shops.
- Batches receivedThe batches of goods you received, each with its batch number, expiry date, quantity and the purchase it came on. A batch only records when the goods expire: the stock itself still comes in with the purchase. Part of the Batch & expiry dates add-on.
