Batches received
The batches of goods you received, each with its batch number, expiry date, quantity and the purchase it came on. A batch only records when the goods expire: the stock itself still comes in with the purchase. Part of the Batch & expiry dates add-on.
Steps
- Open Inventory → Batches received and press "New". Pick the purchase the goods came on to fill a row for each product, or add the rows yourself.
- Write the batch number and expiry date on each row and save. Rows left blank are skipped; each row is saved as its own batch.
Tips
- Services are left out: only goods have stock and expiry dates.
