Parts by vehicle
Keep on each part the vehicles it fits, by make, model and years (or that it fits every vehicle), and the maker's OE numbers it replaces. Then find the parts for a customer's car by make, model and year, or by OE number, and see which parts still have no fitment. The parts POS shows what fits the car on the counter. Part of the Vehicle fitment add-on for auto spare parts shops.
Steps
- Open a part and its Fitment tab. Tick "Fits every vehicle" for oils, fluids and tools; otherwise press "Add vehicle" and type the make, the model (empty for every model of the make) and the years. Add the OE numbers it replaces, then Update.
- Open Inventory → Parts by vehicle, pick the make, model and year of the customer's car: the parts that fit show with their stock and price. Type a part name, code or OE number to narrow them.
- Press "No fitment yet" to see the parts still to fill in.
Tips
- A part with no fitment is never hidden at the counter: the POS shows it with "Fitment not confirmed".
- Leave the years empty when the part fits every year of the model.
