Waste log
Meat that is spoiled, trimmed, lost as drip, past its date or returned, taken out of the product's stock at its cost per kg. Purchases are an expense already, so waste is never an expense again: the log shows the kilos lost and what they cost. Part of the Carcass costing add-on.
Steps
- Press "Log waste", pick the product, write the kilos and the reason, and press "Post".
- Open an entry and press "Cancel the entry" if it was wrong: the kilos go back into stock.
