Steps

  1. Press Plan on a unit and set its service interval (every so many km, every so many days), its last service and its registration and insurance expiry. Press Add a unit for one not leased yet.
  2. Type the odometer at each handover on the lease or hire at the till: the board reads it and works out the km a day.
  3. Show the overdue and due soon units first, book them into the workshop, then press Service done with the km and the date: the next service is counted from there.

Tips

  • Due soon is within 1,000 km or 14 days of the next service, or a registration or insurance within 30 days. Units with no meter (trailers, forklifts, generators) are serviced by date only.
  • Keep the registration and insurance papers themselves in Documents with their expiry dates.
  • Ask StartAI, e.g. "which units are due a service?" or "TRK 6101 was serviced at 84,300 km": it reads this board and, once you press Confirm, records the service.
