Fleet dashboard

A fleet leasing or equipment rental business at a glance for a period: the units in the fleet, the ones on hire today and idle, the fleet's utilisation, the leases running and the ones ending in the next 30 days, the late returns, the revenue by kind of contract (long-term leases, truck and van hire, trailers and equipment, with driver, fleet services, charges after return), the units on hire each day and the units hired the most.

Steps

  1. Pick the period at the top: a month, a range, a year or specific dates.
  2. Read the fleet today: units on hire and idle, utilisation, leases running and the late returns to chase.
  3. Check Leases ending soon and renew the contract or plan the unit's return; press an invoice number to open the sale.

Tips

  • A unit is any vehicle or piece of equipment typed on a lease or hire at the till. Utilisation is the unit-days on hire up to today divided by the units times the days of the period so far.
  • Revenue is the period's invoice lines before VAT with returns taken off, grouped by the POS tab of each product.
  • This dashboard is only for fleet leasing and equipment rental businesses; other stores are taken to the business dashboard.
  • Ask StartAI, e.g. "which leases end this month?" or "the forklift FKL-01 is back": it reads these figures and, once you press Confirm, moves the contract on the Contracts board.
