Business health

Your last 90 days in a few figures: sales growth, gross and net margin, cost of goods (food cost for restaurants and cafes), expenses, average sale, returns, days of stock and days to get paid. Share your figures anonymously to see where you stand among similar businesses.

Steps

  1. Open Dashboard → Business health. The top row shows sales after returns, gross profit, expenses and salaries, net profit, stock at cost and what customers owe.
  2. Each card is one figure with what it means. Margins and shares are of sales before VAT.
  3. Press Share my figures anonymously (administrators) to compare. Each card then shows the middle of similar businesses, the range most of them are in, and whether you are ahead, like most or behind.
  4. Under Where to look first, read what to check for each figure where you are behind.

Tips

  • Similar businesses are those of your business category in your city; when fewer than five share there, your country, then every country (the average sale is then not compared, as currencies differ).
  • Only the ratios on the page, your business category, country and city are shared: no name, customer or sales total. Stop sharing at any time and the shared figures are deleted.
  • A comparison appears once at least five similar businesses share their figures, so no single business can be made out.
