Receipts from the portal
Bank-transfer receipts your clients upload against their invoices on the client portal, waiting for the office to check them: open the file, compare the amount with the invoice balance, accept or reject with a note the client sees, then record the payment on the invoice. Part of the Client portal add-on.
Tips
- Accepting a receipt does not change the invoice: the payment is recorded on the invoice itself, so the ledger stays yours.
- Only the client can create a receipt; the office only reviews it. The file stays with the receipt for later checks.
