Signing in
Sign in with your work email and password to open your dashboard.
Steps
- Enter your “Work email”. In the demo the account sirin@alnoor.example is already filled in.
- Enter your “Password” (at least 8 characters). Click the eye icon to show or hide it.
- Tick “Remember me on this device” to stay signed in on this computer.
- Press “Sign in”. You go to the dashboard, or back to the page you were trying to open.
Tips
- Forgot your password? Type your email first, then click “Forgot password?”. A reset link is emailed to you; it works once, for 30 minutes, and signs every other device out when used (demo: no email is sent).
- “Password reset by email is not available yet” means StartERP’s email is not set up; ask your administrator to set a new password for you in Users.
- If an administrator set your password, StartERP asks you to choose your own one before the app opens.
- “We couldn’t find an account with that email” means the address is not registered — check it or start a free trial.
- “This account is inactive” means an administrator disabled your user; ask them to re-enable it in Users.
- Do not tick “Remember me” on shared or public computers.
- With 2-step verification on, the next screen asks for the 6-digit code from your authenticator app (or a recovery code). “Don’t ask again on this browser for 30 days” skips it on this browser.
- Login opens on your country: the one a country’s page sent you from (for example the UAE), else the last one you picked, else Saudi Arabia. Its flag shows in the country menu at the top of the page, the only place to change it. The “Demo” button at the top opens the demo store page on the same country; it asks only for the business category and role, and from a business category page (for example UAE Barber Shop) only the role. The StartERP logo and “Back to website” open that country’s home page.
- The bottom of the page carries the website footer: the copyright and, for your country, the company StartERP is a product of with its registration details and address (a country with no registered company shows only the copyright).
- On your company's own sign-in address (such as yourcompany.starterp.org, or your own domain, set in Settings → Login address) the page shows your company's name and logo, with no sign-up, demo, country menu or website links, and only your company's users can sign in there. “This account does not belong to …” means the account is another company's: sign in at your own company's address or at starterp.org.
In the app, press F1 or ? on this screen to open this guide next to your work.
