Finding your way around

The sidebar, top bar, search palette and branch switcher take you anywhere in StartERP in a few clicks.

Steps

Use the sidebar on the left (right in Arabic): click a group such as Sales to open it, then click a page. “Collapse” at the bottom shrinks it to icons.
On a phone tap “More” in the bottom bar (or the menu button) to open the sidebar; the bottom bar also has Home, Sales, New sale and Products.
Read the breadcrumb at the top (group › page › record) and click the page name to go back to its list.
Press Ctrl+K (Cmd+K on Mac) or click “Search” to open the command palette. Type a page, product, customer, vendor or invoice number, move with ↑ ↓ and press Enter.
Switch branch with the store button in the top bar. With many stores, type in its search box (name, branch, code, VAT number or city) and page through them with the arrows; the page with your current store opens first. “Manage stores” opens Settings.
Click the language button in the top bar to change language: English, Malayalam, French, Urdu or Bangla. Urdu turns the layout right to left. Arabic is listed too where Arabic is read, and turns it right to left as well. The moon / sun icon switches dark or light mode.
Open the bell for notifications (ZATCA, stock, approvals); click one to jump to its record or choose “Mark all as read”.
Click your avatar for Profile, Change password, Users, Onboarding wizard and Log out.

Administrators can hide sidebar groups or pages the team does not use from the sidebar settings; hidden pages still open from search.
Some groups (workshop, procurement…) appear only when that module is switched on for the branch.
Leaving a form with unsaved changes asks for confirmation, so a stray click on the sidebar does not lose your work.
“Help & website” at the bottom of the sidebar opens the public website; the Help Center lists every help topic.
