Steps

  1. Open Settings → Login address in your main store (a branch shows which store holds it).
  2. Type the address name: small letters, digits and hyphens, 3 to 40 characters, such as gulfunion. Names StartERP keeps (www, api, demo …) and names another company uses are refused.
  3. Turn on “Use this login address”. The address, such as https://gulfunion.starterp.org, shows below with a Copy button: share it with your staff.
  4. Your own domain: under “Your own domain” type an address such as erp.yourcompany.com and press “Add domain”. Add the TXT record and either the CNAME or the A record shown, where your domain's DNS is managed (a root domain such as yourcompany.com takes the A record), then press Verify. DNS changes can take up to an hour.

Tips

  • The address opens only the sign-in page, with your company's name and logo (or your White-label brand): no StartERP website, pricing, demo or sign-up. The first visit gets the address its own secure certificate.
  • Only users of your company's stores can sign in there; everyone can still sign in at starterp.org.
  • Turning it off stops the address and your domains at once; the name stays yours, so turning it on again brings it back.
  • Changing the name, adding or removing a domain and turning it on or off need the Settings edit right, and are kept in the audit log.
