Card Bridge (shop computer)
Card machines on the shop network or a cable (Neoleap, Geidea, KNET, Alhamrani) are reached through the StartERP Card Bridge, a small program on a computer in the shop.
Steps
- Open Settings → Card machines and find Card Bridge (shop computer).
- Pick the computer's system (Windows, macOS, Ubuntu / Linux or Android), download the setup file and follow the steps shown for it.
- Press Pair a computer. Open the Card Bridge on that computer (or type the 8-character code on its page) and press Pair. The code works once, for 15 minutes.
- Turn on Start with the computer on the Card Bridge page so it keeps running.
- Add or edit the card machine, choose this computer under Card Bridge computer, enter the machine's IP address or port, then press Test connection.
Tips
- A green dot means the computer checked in during the last minute. If it is offline the till says so and the cashier can record the payment by hand.
- iPhone and iPad can't run the Card Bridge; use a Windows, Mac or Linux computer, an Android device, or a cloud-connected machine.
- The setup files are not code-signed yet: on Windows choose More info → Run anyway, on a Mac right-click the app and choose Open.
- Unpair a computer you no longer use; machines that use it stop receiving amounts.
In the app, press F1 or ? on this screen to open this guide next to your work.
