Prakriti assessment

The Vaidya's assessment of a patient's constitution: a 20-question questionnaire scored into Vata, Pitta and Kapha shares and the prakriti it names, the doshas out of balance now (vikriti), the eightfold examination (Ashtavidha pariksha), agni, koshta and bala and the diet and lifestyle advice (pathya). Only clinical staff can open them, and every look or change is in the patient's access log. Part of the Prakriti & dosha assessment add-on for Ayurveda hospitals, clinics and spas.

Steps

  1. Give the Vaidyas a role with Can open patient records switched on (Users → RBAC).
  2. Go to Customers → Prakriti assessments → New assessment, pick the patient and the date and type the Vaidya.
  3. Answer each question for the patient's nature since childhood. The bar shows Vata, Pitta and Kapha as you go and names the prakriti once 10 questions are answered.
  4. Tick the doshas out of balance now, choose agni, koshta and bala, fill in the eightfold examination and the advice given, and press Save assessment.

Tips

  • A prakriti within 10 points across all three doshas is Tridosha; two within 15 points make a pair such as Vata-Pitta, the larger first.
  • Assess again on a later visit to follow the vikriti; the list keeps every assessment, the latest first.
  • Prakriti assessments are kept out of the AI assistant and the automations.
