Prescription history
Every patient's prescriptions, from the right eye, left eye and PD typed on each lens order at the optical POS, newest first, with a flag when the prescription changed since the visit before and the day the next eye test is due. Part of the Prescription history add-on for optical shops.
Steps
- On the optical POS, tap prescription lenses, then type the patient's name, each eye's prescription and the PD, and bill it to the customer.
- Open Sales → Prescription history to see every patient's latest prescription and next eye test; type a patient, customer or phone to find one.
- Open a patient for every prescription, newest first. Press WhatsApp to send the customer a reminder of the next eye test, ready to edit before you send it.
Tips
- The next eye test is the last visit plus "Eye test every" (12 months unless you pick another). "Eye test overdue & due soon" shows the patients overdue or due within 30 days.
- Family members billed to one customer each keep their own history, by the patient name typed at the till.
