Steps

  1. On the showroom POS, tap an item under Special orders (or Made to order, Cut & bulk orders) or a fitting job, type the price agreed with the customer and enter the customer, the site and the promised day. Take the deposit as a part payment on the same invoice.
  2. Move the order on the POS Orders board as it goes to the supplier, is ready and is delivered or installed.
  3. Open Sales → Showroom orders and pick the period (the last 30 days at first). Chase the overdue orders at the top of the list, then the ones due this week.

Tips

  • Days to ready run from the invoice day to the day the order was marked Ready on the board, so mark each step on the day it happens.
  • The balance and deposits count each invoice once, when it still has an open order; cancelled orders are left out of the value.
