Steps

  1. Open a document (a sales invoice, quotation, purchase order…) and click Print to open the Print Center on A4, A5, Letter or another sheet size.
  2. In “Seals & signatures” click a seal or signature under “Add to this document”: it appears on the preview, seals at the bottom right and signatures at the bottom left. A document carries one seal and one signature; picking another one takes its place.
  3. Drag it on the preview to where it belongs. Drag its corner to resize it and the round handle to turn it; arrow keys nudge it 1 mm (5 mm with Shift). Size, Turn, Ink and Pages are also in the side panel.
  4. Choose “Layout used for”: this document type only, or every document type that has no layout of its own.
  5. Click “Save layout”. From then on every print and PDF of that document type has the seal and signature in that place.
  6. “New seal” designs a round or rectangular company seal from the store's name, city and C.R. number, in blue, red, purple, green or black ink; “Import an image” takes a scan or photo of your rubber stamp.
  7. “New signature” lets you sign with a finger, pen or mouse on the pad, or import a scanned signature. The paper white is taken out so only the ink prints.
  8. “Manage seals & signatures” lists them all: rename, redesign, replace the image or delete one (it is taken off every layout).

Tips

  • Seals and signatures print on sheet paper only; receipt rolls and dot-matrix forms print without them.
  • Untick “Print seals and signatures” in the Print Center to print one copy without them; the saved layout stays.
  • Only users who may edit the store settings can add, move or change seals and signatures; everyone else prints them as saved.
  • A seal or signature can go on the last page (the default), the first page or every page of a long document.
  • They are kept on the server for each store, so every device and user prints the same seal in the same place.
