Industrial supply POS

Valves, flanges, gaskets and stud bolts for oil and gas: filter by category, brand, size, class and material, contract prices with credit terms, MTC and heat numbers per line, and RFQs to suppliers for shortfalls.

Steps

  1. "Select the industrial account" first — contract prices, credit terms and the tax invoice follow the account.
  2. Tap a "Category" card: each category has its own picture (valves, pipes, flanges, safety …) so you spot it at a glance. Tap it again to show all items.
  3. Filter by "Brand", "Type", "Size", "Class" and "Material", or search the item code.
  4. Enter the quantity and tap the item; add the "Heat no." from the MTC on each line.
  5. To change an item already in the order, tap its line and choose "Quantity", "Price excl. VAT" or "Price incl. VAT". The box shows the current value: type a new one to replace it, or use ⌫ / C to edit or clear it, then "Apply qty" / "Apply price". Typing the price incl. VAT works out the price excl. VAT for you. The line being changed is marked in the order.
  6. Not sure what "MTC 3.1" or "Heat no." means? Tap the small "?" beside it for a plain explanation.
  7. When stock is short, tap "RFQ" ("Back-order · RFQ") to raise a request to suppliers.
  8. Fill the "Customer PO no.", "Project / job ref.", "Required by" and "Packing & delivery".
  9. Tap "Pay": bank transfer, on account (net terms) or cash. The amount paid starts at the total; to take part now, type the amount paid and the balance goes on the account. The default print format and the Print Center (settings icon) are at the bottom of the screen; tap "Save & print" (straight to the print dialog) or just "Save".
  10. In ZATCA Phase 2, "Report to ZATCA" on the payment screen is on for every sale: the invoice is reported (or cleared, B2B) as soon as it is saved and the receipt prints ZATCA's QR code. Switch it off to save the sale without reporting; the receipt then prints the ZATCA Phase 1 QR code.
  11. Tap "Prev" and "Next" to open the saved documents of the chosen type, newest first ("1 / 9" is the newest). The document loads into the cart: change it and tap "Save changes", or tap "New" to start a new one.
  12. A sales invoice already reported to ZATCA opens locked (a lock beside its number): its items, customer and prices cannot change. Only the cash discount and the payments received can — tap "Payments", add a payment or a cash discount and tap "Save changes".

Tips

  • Prices are excl. VAT; the estimated gross weight and packages are calculated for delivery.
  • On a phone the filter rows sit under the item search, above the items: swipe a row sideways to see more of it. On a weak connection the item counts may not load; the filters still show, without counts, from the items on screen.
  • A category with no matching picture shows its first letters on a colour of its own; item tiles show their category's picture too.
  • "MTC 3.1 to attach" lists the certificates to send with the goods.
  • Use "Open RFQ" to follow supplier replies in procurement.
  • A sale saved without reporting to ZATCA can still be reported later: open it in Sales / Orders and tap "Report to ZATCA now".
  • The server enforces the ZATCA lock too, so the items, customer, prices and dates of a reported invoice cannot be changed from any screen or device (only notes and payments). Correct a mistake in a reported invoice with a sales return (credit note).
