Optical Shop POS

For optical shops: frames and sunglasses, prescription lenses sold with each eye's prescription, contact lenses, solutions, eye tests and repairs, and an Orders board that follows every lens and repair order from the lab to collection.

Steps

  1. Scan a frame's barcode or tap it on the Frames or Sunglasses tab.
  2. On Prescription lenses, tap the lenses and type the patient, the right and left eye (SPH / CYL / AXIS / ADD), the PD and the ready date. Fields marked * are required.
  3. Tap "Add customer", then "Pay". Take an advance by paying part; the rest stays on the customer's account.
  4. Open "Orders" to move each order: Ordered, In the lab, Ready, Collected (or Cancelled).

Tips

  • The prescription prints on the invoice line next to the lenses. Orders are saved on their invoice, so every device of the store sees the same board.
  • On the product form, Frame shape, Frame size and Frame material take the place of class, size and material. Keep a customer's eye prescription in Documents with its expiry date.
