Baby supplies shop POS

The counter of a baby shop: diapers and wipes, formula and baby food, bottles and feeding, baby clothes, strollers and car seats, nursery and sleep, toys and bath and care on their own tabs. Clothes come in colours and age sizes, diapers in their pack sizes, the child's usual size is remembered, and car seat fitting, stroller and cot assembly go on the bill with a ready date.

Steps

  1. Tap an item (or scan its barcode). For clothes choose the colour and the age size (0-3M to 18-24M), for diapers the size (NB to 6); the stock of each is shown.
  2. Add the customer: the child's usual size is marked, and VIP customers get their VIP discount.
  3. On a stroller, car seat, cot or bassinet tick "Fitting & assembly" (car seat fitting, stroller assembly, cot assembly at home) for a ready date and a fitting ticket. Name embroidery and gift hampers are on the "Fitting & gifts" tab.
  4. Tap "Wrap as gift" for a baby shower present, then "Pay" and take cash, card or the store's other payment methods.

Tips

  • With the Batch & expiry dates add-on, record the batch and expiry of formula, baby food and creams on the purchase; the expiry board shows what expires soon so it is sold first.
  • With the Serial numbers add-on, record the serial number of strollers, car seats, breast pumps and monitors, so a recall or a warranty claim finds who bought the unit. With Colour & size variants each item keeps its own colours and sizes.
  • The Baby shop dashboard shows sales by tab and brand, the items that sell, fitting against goods and returning parents. Brand names describe the goods only; the starter catalog carries no logos.
