Drinking water delivery POS

The counter of a drinking water company: 5- and 3-gallon refills, new bottles and bottle deposits, cartons of small bottles, coupon books, dispensers and pumps, and dispenser rent, cleaning, installation and delivery on their own tabs. A refill notes the empties brought back and charges a deposit for each bottle that did not come back.

Steps

  1. Tap a refill. In "Refill" type the full bottles handed over and the empties brought back; with "Charge a deposit" ticked, each bottle not returned adds the bottle deposit to the bill.
  2. Sell coupon books from the Coupon books tab, then record the book number on the customer's coupon book list so the drivers know how many coupons are left.
  3. Dispensers, pumps and stands are goods; dispenser rent, cleaning, installation and the delivery charge are services.

Tips

  • With the Water delivery add-on, the Delivery board shows the customers due today, the bottles out with customers, the deposits held and the coupons left; van trips record each stop.
  • The Water delivery dashboard shows sales by tab, rent and services against goods, the busy hours and the customers who order again.
