Supermarket checkout lane

Fast scan-first cashier lane with a quantity multiplier, PLU codes and scale for loose produce, live promotions, loyalty points, price check and supervisor voids.

Steps

  1. Keep the cursor in the scanner field ("Ready to scan") and scan each item; the "Last item" panel confirms it.
  2. For several of the same item, type the quantity, tap "×" ("Quantity multiplier"), then scan once.
  3. For loose produce open "PLU — loose items", type the 4-digit code from the sticker and tap "Weigh".
  4. Ask for the loyalty number: enter the customer's mobile under "Loyalty", or "Enrol new member".
  5. Promotions apply automatically; the cart shows "You saved".
  6. Tap "Pay" and take cash, Mada, Visa / Mastercard, Apple Pay or STC Pay.

Tips

  • "Void line" and "Void sale" need the "Supervisor PIN".
  • Use "Price check" to scan an item and show its price without adding it to the sale.
  • Members earn 1 point for every SAR 10 spent.
  • Typing a name filters the items; press Enter to add when one remains.
