Truck showroom POS

Truck showroom: new and used light, medium and heavy trucks, tractor heads, vans and buses sold to fleets and owner-drivers at the agreed price with the chassis number, body, commercial finance or lease, down payment and trade-in on the invoice, bodies and trailers built to order, registration, permits, speed limiters, tachographs, GPS trackers and service contracts, and every deal on a Deals board until delivery.

Steps

  1. Pick the buyer or fleet company, then tap a truck under New trucks or Used trucks. Type the agreed price and enter the chassis number (VIN), the body or build, how the buyer pays, the down payment, instalments, any trade-in and its value, and the delivery date.
  2. Add a body or trailer from Bodies & trailers with the chassis it goes on, and the registration, operating card, speed limiter, tachograph, GPS or service contract from Registration & fleet services.
  3. Move the deal on the Deals board through finance and registration, ready and delivered; with the Vehicle deals & delivery add-on, Sales → Vehicle deals follows every open deal and the balance still to collect.

Tips

  • Give each truck its axle and GVW, body and fuel on the product (POS details); the POS filters by them.
  • A fleet buying several trucks is one customer; put each truck on its own line so each chassis number and delivery date is followed on its own.
