Steps

  1. Tap a toy (or scan its barcode). The age group, the batteries it needs and its material show; a toy for 3 years and up carries the small-parts warning (not for children under 3) and balloons the under-8 warning, so you can tell the parent.
  2. Under "Add with it" the right battery pack is ticked for you (packs for the quantity sold), and a helmet with a bike or scooter; untick what the customer does not want, then "Add".
  3. For a bike pick the colour and the wheel size (12", 16", 20"), and tick "Assembly" for bike, ride-on car or trampoline assembly with a ready date and an assembly ticket. Balloon bouquets, birthday gift hampers and battery fitting are on the "Gift wrap & assembly" tab.
  4. Tap "Gift" to wrap a birthday present with a card and a gift receipt without prices, add the customer for the VIP discount, then "Pay".

Tips

  • Each product's age group, batteries and material are its Age group, Batteries and Material fields on the product form; the store keeps its own option lists, and the counter and StartAI read them.
  • With the Colour & size variants add-on bikes and scooters keep their colours and sizes; with the Serial numbers add-on electric ride-ons, drones and coding robots keep their serial number for warranty claims.
  • The Toy shop dashboard shows sales by tab and brand, the toys that sell, assembly and gift wrap against goods, the busy hours of Eid and holiday peaks and returning customers; StartAI Radio says which age group most of the day's toys were for. Brand names describe the goods only; the starter catalog carries no logos.
