Steps

  1. Pick a tab (OPD consultations, Emergency, Admissions, Rooms, ICU & nursing, Laboratory, Radiology, Surgery & OT, Maternity, Pharmacy & consumables, Health checks) and tap the service. Medicines and consumables can also be scanned.
  2. Type the patient's name and, if you like, the doctor. For an inpatient enter the IP (admission) number on every line, so the room, ICU, lab and pharmacy charges of one stay belong together. Only these go on the invoice line, never a diagnosis.
  3. For an admission or a delivery enter the admission day (and the expected discharge); for a surgery package the surgeon and the surgery date. Bill room and ICU days with the number of days as the quantity.
  4. Open "Admissions" to move each one: In ward / in treatment, Discharge ready, Discharged (or Cancelled).

Tips

  • Watch revenue by department, patients in now, discharges, the average length of stay and each doctor's revenue on the Hospital dashboard.
  • Add Patient records, Prescriptions, Insurance claims and Batch & expiry dates from Settings → Modules for clinical notes, the ward pharmacy and insurer billing.
  • Keep each doctor's and nurse's licence in Documents with its expiry date, so you are reminded before it lapses.
